Great news all round from this weekend of festival fun.

Staring Edvard, ‘BINO’ won The Special Prize of the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk for the Best Short Film and a special mention from the Juries Generation at the 62nd International Film Festival in Berlin.

At the 2012′s Tropfest, which took place in Sydney yesterday. Riley Evans stared in ‘Jack and Lily’ which came in the top 5.

Centrestage Agency will be holding its 2012 intake on Sunday 29^h January and Sunday 5^th February.

We are looking for actors/singers/dancers to work professionally in film, TV, stage and Musical Theatre.

To apply, you must be between 4 and 19 years of age, live in the Greater Melbourne area and be available to attend castings at short notice. Experience is not necessary, but some training is preferred for older participants. Auditions will be conducted before a professional casting director and feedback will be available for all participants.

Last night was another very successful opening night for MTC with Return to Earth opening however it also marked a VERY special night for our Allegra as we are sure tonight will be for our Talia. The girls are very lucky to be 2 of 3 girls sharing the role of Catta in Return To Earth. We are so proud of both girls and we have already had some great feedback about them. Chookas for the rest of the run girls.

Congratulations Alice McDonald who has just been cast in The Production Company’s production of Grey Gardens at the State Theatre in November/December. Congrats Alice – we are very proud of you!

Lovely Morgan shot the Christmas TVC for Target last week – is it that time of year already!

Congrats to Nathan who shot his first commercial for Herald Sun, playing the younger version of the fabulous chef Manu.

Next week Jake starts shooting on the new television series LOL, a kids sketch comedy show. Having taken part in the workshop, Jake has been invited back to shoot the series which will air on ABC 3.

Good luck to lovely Anni who is shooting a TVC for Industry Funds Management this weekend.

Congratulations to Edvard, who is currently filming the role of Gabriel in Winners & Losers series II.
